Ariel Krolikowski (2005-06), University of Nebraska-Kearney senior, was named UNK's 2013 Senior Co-Female Student Athlete of the Year.  Congratulations, Ariel! (4/29/2013)

Tyler Pooschke (2007-09), Doane College junior, appeared in articles in both the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World-Herald newspapers. (4/25/2013)

Andrew McVea (2008-11), Westside High School senior, was a recipient of the NSAA Believers And Achievers award for April & May. (3/28/2013)

Ariel Krolikowski Ariel Krolikowski, University of Nebraska-Kearney senior, was named the honorary captain of the Omaha World-Herald's All-Nebraska Division II volleyball team. (12/26/2012)

Scholar Athletes Clara Nichols (2006-12), Oklahoma State University freshman, and Michelle Wallerstedt (2012), George Mason University freshman, were named 2011-2012 Scholar Athletes of the Year by the Greater Omaha Sports Committee. (12/23/2012)

Tyler Pooschke (2007-09), Doane College junior, is the executive chair of the Survivor and Luminary committees of Doane College’s Relay for Life event.  He is one of the forces behind Doane's first-place ranking in the nation in fundraising for the annual American Cancer Society event. Rachel Wade Rachel Wade (1997-2000), of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2006, 3˝ years after being struck by lightning while lifeguarding.  The Flyers express our deepest condolences to the Wade family.  An obituary appeared in the Muscatine (Iowa) Journal.
