Welcome to the home page of the
CORNHUSKER FLYERS TRACK CLUB
The Cornhusker Flyers are a USA Track & Field
Nebraska Association member youth club,
offering an opportunity for boys and girls ages 18 and younger in the
Omaha metropolitan area to participate in the sports of track & field
and cross country. Our track & field season runs from April
to July and our cross country
season runs from September to December. To learn more about the Flyers track program, see our
Club Information page.
Flyer athletes: If your track season is over and you are not doing Flyers cross country this fall,
then it is time to return your uniform to
Andrea Otte.
If you bought shorts and a club T-shirt, you can keep them. The jersey and warmups need to be washed in cold water and hung to dry.
Please help Ms. Otte out by safety pinning the following information on the outside of the uniform bag:
1) Name (most important!) · 2) Any problems with the uniform? · 3) Do you think you will return as a Flyer next year?

Track & field is
pretty popular in Nebraska,
as compared to other states.
Here's a good
article
on the growth of high school track & field in America.
They say "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery".
Well, I was very flattered when I saw
this.
