Welcome to the home page of the
CORNHUSKER FLYERS TRACK CLUB
The Cornhusker Flyers are a USA Track & Field
Nebraska Association member youth club,
offering an opportunity for boys and girls ages 18 and younger in the
Omaha metropolitan area to participate in the sports of track & field
and cross country. Our track & field season runs from April
to July and our cross country
season runs from September to December. To learn more about the Flyers track program, see our

If you're ready to join for the summer,
here's what to do.
If you're not sure yet, then we invite you to attend a few
first (but please bring a completed
with you). If you have any questions about the Flyers, please feel free to ask any of our
Coaches & Volunteers.
We look forward to seeing you at practice!
(coaches/volunteers listed are unable to attend)
All practices at Burke High School, 120th & Dodge, starting at 6:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Wednesday practices will begin with a team/parent meeting.

6 Flyers competed in 10 events at the
National Junior Olympic Championships
at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida from July 27 to August 2.
Our medalists include:
• Maja Ahmann – 15-16 Girls javelin throw, 116’ 3”, 7th
• Tyler Wilson – 11-12 Boys discus throw, 93’ 8”, 8th
• Isabel Reutzel – 11-12 Girls 1500 meter race walk, 9:05.66, 7th

14 Flyer kids competed in 22 events at the 2015
Nebraska and Iowa state track meets, winning a total of 16 medals,
including 3 bronze, 2 silver, and 4 gold!
32 former Flyers
are competing in track & field, cross country, and other sports at colleges and
