Welcome to the home page of the
CORNHUSKER FLYERS TRACK CLUB

The Cornhusker Flyers are a USA Track & Field Nebraska Association member youth club, offering an opportunity for boys and girls ages 18 and younger in the Omaha metropolitan area to participate in the sports of track & field and cross country.  Our track & field season runs from April to July and our cross country season runs from September to December.  To learn more about the Flyers track program, see our Club Information page. 

29 Flyers competed in 70 events at the Region 8 Junior Olympic Championships at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa from Thursday, July 9 to Sunday, July 12.  Flyer athletes placed in 30 of 70 events, including 6 bronze, 6 silver, and 8 gold.  Region 8 medalists were:

Cornhusker Flyers Awards Night All Flyer athletes, coaches, and their immediate families are invited to attend the Cornhusker Flyers Track & Field Awards Night on Sunday, August 23, 6:00 p.m. in the Ralston High School cafeteria.  Please RSVP on Brian Zimmerman's web site by Tuesday, August 18, 11:59 p.m.  See a list of award winners here.

14 Flyer kids competed in 22 events at the 2015 Nebraska and Iowa state track meets, winning a total of 16 medals, including 3 bronze, 2 silver, and 4 gold!

27 former Flyers are competing in track & field, cross country, and other sports at colleges and universities across the country.  (If any names are missing, let us know.)
